Philodendron Lemon Lime (Philodendron Hederaceum) 8"
Often confused with a Neon Pothos the Lemon Lime Philodendron has beautiful leaf color ranging from bright yellow to chartreuse. The new leaves are an electric pinkish-yellow, changing to deep yellow in adulthood and finally turning neon green on maturity. Such a fun and captivating display for any space! This is a climbing Philodendron that loves to creep if you provide a trellis or moss pole but is equally happy trailing from a bookshelf or a hanging basket.
Light: While the Lemon Lime is tolerant of low-light, bright indirect light will promote the best growth. Avoid direct sunlight as this will surely burn its delicate leaves, if you see the leaves turning brown move the plant to a lower light area. (If the plant looks droopy it needs more light)
Water: Philodendron do not like soggy soil or to sit in standing water. Allow the first 2 inches- up to the top half of the soil to dry in between watering. allowing the soil to completely dry during winter months is acceptable.
Humidity: Happy in humidity and tolerant of dryer normal household conditions. If humidity is low these plants appreciate a light misting to keep their leaves fresh!
NOTE: Philodendron is toxic and should be kept away from children and pets.
